Olivia Bowling joined McNeely Brockman Public Relations as an account assistant in January 2022, was promoted to assistant account executive in January 2023 and then promoted to account executive in January 2024. During her time at MBPR, Olivia has supported media outreach, brand strategy, materials development and event coordination for local and statewide projects including the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild, Soles4Souls, Madison County, Ala. Water Department, Genesco, Fort Negley Master Plan and Wharf Park Master Plan.
While working on two master planning projects (Fort Negley and Wharf Park), Olivia played a key role in community engagement, both internal and external, as she managed up-to-date stakeholder lists, drafted and distributed media advisories and press releases, and assisted with media relations on the day of the event.
Prior to joining MBPR, Olivia served as a public relations and social media intern at Bader Rutter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, marketing specialist and booking agent at Gresham Hill Management in Franklin, Tennessee, intern for Nashville-based Parthenon PR, and as an Intern at O’Connor Connective of De Pere, Wisconsin.
Olivia is a December 2021 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. During her time at Belmont, Olivia was an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), including serving as president of Belmont’s chapter for the 2020-21 academic year. Olivia is now a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Nashville Chapter, serving on the New and Young Professionals committee.
A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Olivia enjoys cheering on the Packers, playing golf, cooking the latest recipe she has discovered and traveling to see her family and friends.
