And our own story starts with Mark McNeely, a veteran journalist who turned that into a career of PR entrepreneurship; Kelly Brockman, who has elevated the stories of our city and state through her roles both on the agency side and in the public sector; and Leigh Lindsey, who takes an integrated and changemaking approach to PR strategy for clients large and small.

Since Mark and Kelly founded MBPR in 2018, and Leigh joined the partnership in 2023, we have built a team of talented communications professionals who care about our clients, the stories they have to tell, and how we can work together to meet business goals with a go-getter spirit and creative approach.

On any given day you’ll find us knocking on the digital doors of reporters with thoughtfully crafted pitches, rolling up our sleeves from Day One to make sure an event runs smoothly, building the messages that drive a community movement, guiding our clients through communication strategies and stepping up in a crisis.
